What Are the Details of the Xiaomi POCO Series?
The Xiaomi POCO brand focuses on powerful mid-range smartphones at more affordable prices than Xiaomi's flagship Mi line. Keep in mind that POCO releases new models often, so specifics will vary.
Are Xiaomi and POCO the same brand?
The POCO brand was originally launched under the Xiaomi brand with the POCO F1 smartphone in August 2018. Due to the success of the brand, Xiaomi decided to branch out with Xiaomi's Vice President and Xiaomi India's Managing Director Manu Kumar Jain explaining that POCO had grown into its own identity after the success of the first phone. The POCO sub-brand had a small team within Xiaomi and subsequently chose the name “poco” since "poco" means "little" in Spanish and Italian.
